Kim Aljon Alqueza, a disciple from ICOC Manila, shared the devastation that his family and fellow residents in Bohol, Philippines suffered due to Typhoon Odette's wrath, days before the rest of the globe celebrated Christmas 2021.

He is thankful for the love, encouragement, and prayers of disciples and the help and assistance extended by ICOC Philippines and HOPE Worldwide, making it possible for them to build a shelter for their family since the typhoon left hundreds of victims in Bohol homeless, without electricity and water for several days or even weeks. Kim's family also received a care package and other essentials.

As of this writing, restoration of power and water supply remains a challenge in typhoon-hit areas including Surigao del Norte and Dinagat Islands in Mindanao, five provinces in the Visayas, and the island of Palawan in Luzon.

Your help shall go a long way in the recovery of the typhoon victims and their families. May God bless you a hundredfold!
