ICOC Isabela celebrates 9th anniversary
`The steadfast love, grace, and blessing of the Lord` celebration.
Nine years of unwavering love, nine years of divine guidance, nine years of boundless blessings – all thanks to the faithfulness of our God!
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. –Revelation 1:3
Nine years ago, a vision was planted, a community was formed, and a journey of faith began – all under the watchful care of a loving God. With the theme "Transformed by Christ," the 9th anniversary Sunday Service of ICOC Isabela, held on March 3, 2024, in Cabagan, Isabela, demonstrated the unwavering spirit of faith and fellowship within the family.
More than just a gathering, it was a coming together of hearts and souls, bringing together over 200 individuals from various parts of Luzon – Bulacan, Tarlac, Bataan, Quezon City, Muntinlupa, and spanning the verdant expanses of Cagayan Valley and the mountainous CAR region.
Amidst the backdrop of lush greenery and the comforting warmth of sunshine, the congregation embarked on a journey of celebration, reflection, and joy.
The service began with beautiful worship, with voices lifted in adoration and gratitude led by the worship ministry.
Nico and Israelei Roque, exuding warmth and hospitality, greeted everyone present, embodying the inclusivity and unity that define the ICOC community.
After the welcome, Berlito Bernardino from ICOC Tarlac guided attendees back to the core of their faith and underscored the significance of Christ's sacrifice on the cross through his precious blood and sacred body.
Jeff Gammad of ICOC Isabela then shared the giving message, encouraging everyone present to develop compassionate and generous hearts towards those in need, while teaching about the essence of Christian love and service.
The service's highlight was a powerful message delivered by Alan Desacula, who came from ICOC Bulacan and was accompanied by his family. He shared a message filled with wisdom and grace, emphasizing the timeless truth that everyone is loved and blessed.
Another significant moment during the celebration was the welcoming of new members into the family. Luning and Luz, from ICOC Diffun Mission Ministry and Roxas Ministry, respectively, were baptized into Christ on February 11, 2024.
Additionally, Anastacia Aquino Dagdag was officially moved from Muntinlupa to Isabela Church on the same day.
Gratitude filled every corner of the building as certificates of appreciation were awarded to dedicated and sacrificial Bible talk leaders: Nico and Israelei Roque of COC Diffun Mission Ministry, Jeff and Alma Gammad of Roxas Ministry, Alvin and Ruchelle Gumiran of Cabagan Ministry, Emman and Frances Garvida of Tuguegarao Ministry, along with ICOC Isabela leaders Idelmundo and Jasmine Castaneda.
As the celebration wrapped up, disciples from ICOC Bulacan, ICOC Quezon City, ICOC Muntinlupa, and ICOC Bataan Mission Ministry led a joyous mini-concert, uniting voices in celebration and praise.
The ninth anniversary Sunday service of ICOC Isabela was not just a milestone but a powerful testament to the enduring power of faith and community in nurturing spiritual unity.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. – Revelation 1:5b-6
