‘Sibol’, ICOC QC North’s First Anniversary Celebration
The ICOC (International Church of Christ) Quezon City North Sector recently marked its first anniversary with a special service aptly named "Sibol," signifying growth, vitality, and renewal in Filipino.
The event, held at the Philippine Social Science Center on February 25, 2024, was a resounding success with nearly 350 attendees.
The highlight of the service was an inspiring message by guest speaker Norberto "Bong" Aquino III, evangelist of ICOC Cavite. His sermon, titled "But God gave the growth," derived from 1 Corinthians 3:1-9, underscored three vital points: understanding our unique purpose in God's plan, harnessing strength through unity and collaboration, and embracing a servant's heart in our faith journey. His message resonated deeply with the audience, leaving a lasting impact and fostering a strong sense of community and spiritual growth.
The anniversary celebration exemplified the power of teamwork. Various ministries within ICOC Quezon City North, spanning from the Youth Ministry to the Senior's Ministry, and from the Ushering Ministry to the Worship Team, collaborated seamlessly to ensure a smooth-running and uplifting service. This joint effort significantly contributed to the positive and encouraging atmosphere experienced by all attendees.

The church holds services every Sunday at 9 a.m. at Maple Leaf, 384 E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, corner Betty Go-Belmonte Street in Quezon City.
