ICOC Philippines' Beacon, a passionate advocate for mental well-being, is excited to announce a two-part series on Mental Health Awareness. The first session, titled "Beyond Labels: Breaking the Stigma," tackles common misconceptions and myths surrounding mental health.

This event aims to:

  • Promote a deeper understanding of mental health struggles.
  • Cultivate compassion and support for those battling these challenges.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive space within the church community for healing and growth.

The session features two esteemed speakers:

  • Katiah Uel Manalo: A licensed Psychometrician with over five years of experience. Katiah specializes in conducting, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments, and currently works as a child therapist at Center of Hope Worldwide.
  • Aimee Gonzaga, M.A..: A licensed Psychologist skilled in providing various psychotherapeutic interventions for children and adults. Aimee has a particular focus on trauma work and offers individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
