Sibol: CAAN 2024 celebrates excellence in faith, learning

On October 20, 2024, ICOC Envolve Philippines presents the Campus Achievement Awards Night (CAAN): Sibol—a celebration of the church's campus students who have excelled in academics, sports, arts, and service to God during the 2023-2024 academic year.

This special event honors student-disciples graduating from Senior High School and College who have demonstrated diligence and excellence in their academic and non-academic pursuits.

Over the years, CAAN has inspired the youth to strive for excellence in the paths God leads them.

Student disciples from Metro Manila and nearby provinces, along with licensure exam passers and Apsom graduates, are encouraged to attend and participate in this event.

Humble Beginnings

The first CAAN took place in 1999, originally designed to recognize campus disciples for their dedication to serving God and the Kingdom while balancing their studies. Since then, it has become an annual tradition, empowering students who have achieved their goals and glorifying God's faithfulness in providing wisdom and intelligence to the younger generation.

Beyond Awards

During this awards night, the Church recognizes graduating brothers and sisters, academic achievers, leadership and community awardees, Licensure Exam Passers, and Asia Pacific School of Mission (Apsom) graduates.

But CAAN is more than just an awards night. It calls all participants to a higher purpose: to strive for improvement in both academics and discipleship. Through speeches from the keynote speaker and the most outstanding graduate, the goal is to inspire awardees to excel in their crafts to glorify the Almighty God.

Additionally, CAAN acknowledges not only the excellence of Envolve disciples but also God's continuous provision of strength, wisdom, and endurance for his followers.

All praise and glory to God—CAAN is just one of the many ways to inspire student-disciples to excel, paving the way for them to worship God in every stage of life.
