ICOC Philippines launches 12-week “THRIVE” journey

Disciples urged to unite in Scripture, reflection, and a shared commitment to grow deeper in faith and impact

The International Churches of Christ (ICOC) Philippines is inviting disciples nationwide to begin the year with a shared commitment: thrive.

Anchored on Isaiah 44:4–5, the church has launched a 12-week “THRIVE Quiet Time Series,” a guided spiritual journey designed to center members each week on Scripture, reflection, and renewed purpose. Leaders are encouraging disciples to read each installment every Monday, setting the spiritual direction for the days ahead.

The theme comes from a promise spoken to a people in exile — a promise that they would “thrive like well-watered grass, like willows by streams of running water,” and that, one by one, they would declare, “I am the Lord’s.”

Church leaders say the series is more than a devotional plan. It is a call to examine the heart, strengthen faith, and walk together in unity as one body. In a time when distractions compete for attention and pressures test conviction, the THRIVE series aims to refocus disciples on what sustains lasting growth.

Rather than rushing through content, organizers describe the series as a steady journey, one that unfolds week by week. Each session follows a simple structure built around Scripture, insight, practical reflection, and a clear spiritual takeaway. The goal: move from inspiration to transformation.

Leaders hope the shared rhythm will unite congregations across the Philippines — from Metro Manila to Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — as disciples reflect on the same passages and pray through the same theme together.

The message is both personal and collective. Thriving begins in the heart, but it does not end there. As disciples grow deeper in faith, the church grows stronger in impact.

For the ICOC Philippines, the invitation is simple: start the week grounded in God’s Word, journey together in faith, and trust that the One who promises growth will bring it.

The first Monday marks the beginning. The rest of the journey is waiting.
